Spanish Remote Learning Plan
March - April 2020
Grade 8

  • All class readings, documents, assignments, and materials will be provided via Google Classroom. Students should take notes on this material in whatever format works for them. 
  •  Each student must log on and respond to the Checks for Understanding which will be counted as a participation grade. 
  •  All Google Classroom Responses must be in complete sentences and utilize high utility words when applicable.  Students must submit this work by the assigned due date. 
  •    Students will be responsible for completing one homework assignment per week, and two classwork assignments.  In order to receive a grade, students must submit this work by the assigned due date.
  •    Every week, I will be holding “office-hours” on Thursdays between 1 P.M. and 2 P.M.  Students may set up a video-call, post questions on Google Classroom, or ask questions by email.  Students can still feel free to reach out to Ms. Berrospi at any time.

A Typical Week During Remote Learning


Monday

Classwork #1

Introduction of new vocabulary, verbs, and conjugation charts. All work must be completed in Spanish.


Tuesday

Classwork #2

Readings, translations, and writing utilizing conjugation of new verbs and vocabulary.


Wednesday

Classwork #3

Watch videos on current topics accompanied by Checks for Understanding, which will be graded.


Thursday

“Office Hours” from 1 p.m. – 2 p.m.

Students may set up a video-call, post questions on Google Classroom, or ask questions by email.


Friday

Homework #1

Research of current topics which will be followed by students creating a document or video clip to be collected for a grade.
