Annual 7th Grade Camping Trip

Unfortunately, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the 7th Grade Camping Trip to the Pocono Environmental Education Center (PEEC) has been cancelled for the 2019-2020 school year. We look forward to bringing next year's 7th graders to PEEC next school year!

Student attend 12 classes while at PEEC.  Here are some fun activities your child can look forward to:

Canoeing                 Night Hiking
Trail Hiking             Map-Reading
Wildlife Studies    Team Building
Campfire                  Confidence Course

Sleeping Arrangements

Boys and girls sleep in separate buildings.  Students remain in their cabin after 9:00 pm.  In each room, there is 1 adult to every 15 students.  


Students are provided 3 meals per day in the PEEC Dining Hall.  All chaperones, teachers, students and PEEC staff will eat together.  Students are responsible for cleaning the entire area of food, dishes and utensils at least once. 



This includes lodging, 6 meals, 12 PEEC programs, Coach bus transportation, and HCMS shirts with athletic bags.

 Families may choose to pay for this trip in one lump sum or on a payment plan.
